bike, disc, drink, music

September, found route on internet and realized that it is almost exactly the opposite direction that I usually go. CCW as opposed to clockwise.
september 1st. Disc at Shaver, John now has Tuesdays off and we play after work until dark.

September 2nd. rode beverly ccw for the first time, at night. 1 helmet mounted light and one bar light, marwi 10 watts each. more climbing than I am use to. I must have been picking all the fun twisty down hills, which are now hard twisty climbs. Now most of the descents are just quick straights with not much time to gain. 3.5 miles in 25 minutes = 8.1 average.

sept 3rd, 4 box rocks at O'malley's

sept 4th. home until late, took the fixie out for a ride and stopped by CR landing, more box or rocks and same jokes.

sept 5 bohemia arts fest, dry heat at 6 pm. saw a bunch of 60 year old overweight belly dancers and left when I got a call from Ruby. Met Jen and she was to stay at my place, but she went off and I went to Wes and Penny's to meet Tom. Then home.

Sept 6 Bohemia by 1 for Dave Zollo. toured all the condos and art studios at Cherry Building and bottleworks. Parlor City by 2 pm and stayed until Public Property in the parking lot by Volume, 6- 10, no food all day unless you count the jalapeno stuffed olives and celery in my bloody marys. home by 11.

Monday labor day sept 7 rest all day until we go and play disc at Turkey Creek, Bret, his wife and two kids played with us, not a serious outing.

sep8, more disc at Shaver after work. Fed shot -6 with 8 birdies. I was about 5 over.
then to Omalleys, for some, got tired and buzzed, was going home, but ended up out on Otis road and then climbing up 44th st to Mt vernon road, long climb with discs and full panniers.
was wide awake, but went home about 12

sept 9 -9-09. Beverly CCW, I keep seeing skunks on the ride there and back. this time 3.8 miles in 28 min, avg 8.1 dark with lights.
sept 10th Kernels are in the playoffs and won last night, will ride there, like I ride everywhere.
free tickets and beer and potato salad for me, hotdogs and burgers for everyone else. I just had some gazpacho soup from NAT and it was damn good.
